Abstract

The research presented here constitutes an architectural design proposal for  a Cancer Center located in El Vigía, Mérida State. It is based on sustainable  architecture that generates a healthy growth environment so that all the natural  elements used produce a state of comfort, serenity, and a feeling of ease in the  patient’s facilities. Currently, no center of this nature has designs that provide its  users with a state of harmony while receiving care. This project brings a set of  benefits to those who receive medical services, but it will also be a source of  employment for local residents (doctors, technicians, administrators, workers,  among others). The architectural proposal responds to the parameters of a research  project in the form of a feasible and documentary project.
