Main Article Content
Abstract
The design of an electric charging station for private vehicles is proposed at the Venequip Cogestion Consortium. This company faces challenges in recharging the batteries of its fleet of electric cars due to the long periods of time it takes to recharge. For this reason, the design of an electric charging station emerges as an alternative to solve this problem. The research conducted falls under the feasible project category, supported by field research. The methodology consisted of diagnosing the current situation and then conducting technical and economic studies. Data collection techniques included direct observation, document review, and unstructured interviews, followed by data analysis using inductive and descriptive methods. The results show that this project contributes to achieving sustainability goals by facilitating the adoption of electric vehicles, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions, and aligning with responsible and environmentally friendly business practices. The implementation of an electric charging station is a strategic step that offers economic, operational, and environmental benefits.
