Abstract
The research presented in this article aims to develop a positive leadership prototype for the Venezuelan company Seven Seas, C.A., located in Lechería, Anzoátegui State, which offers integrated maritime transport services worldwide, providing connections, experiences, and services to a national and international clientele. The company exhibits problematic situations such as negative autocratic leadership, with vertical and centralized lines of command, low employee commitment, and poor effective communication. Methodologically, this is a descriptive and projective field study. The sample consists of 14 employees from the company, who were confidentially administered a questionnaire. The data obtained were processed and analyzed using frequency calculations, percentage determination, and a SWOT matrix. The positive leadership prototype was derived from this analysis. It is concluded that, despite the company's focus on adaptability and cultural diversity, its leadership style does not align with modern management trends. Characterized by rapid decision-making, an inability to adapt to change, and a lack of teamwork, the company's current structure hinders customer satisfaction and impedes efficiency and development. The proposed prototype could guarantee the company opportunities for growth, expansion into new markets, the formation of strategic alliances, the implementation of innovative technologies, the development of internal leadership programs, and greater competitiveness.
