Abstract

information technology in logistics action makes businesses become more competitive. There are several aspects to consider, among which stand out: the increase of its productive efficiency, the improvement in the quality of its products and services, and any immediate positive response to the needs of the internal and external customer. In order to achieve the objectives related to them, companies that have been successful in their organizational strategies are using information technologies, which have had a positive impact on the performance of their functions. To the consequent ends the great organizations have seen in the necessity to restructure their technological platforms to increase the capacity and speed of the computers, at the same time to satisfy the organizational necessities; In this regard, information technology helps to effectively control decision making in the various productive functional areas of these. E-commerce is growing explosively on the Internet, and it is estimated that before the end of this century, millions of people and businesses will be buying, selling, offering, advertising, intermediating and collaborating daily.
