METHODOLOGY FOR EVALUATING FORMATIONS AT THE RESERVOIR LAGUNILLAS INFERIOR 05 ACROSS PROFILES OF WELLS

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present the most important aspects of the study whose objective was to develop a methodology for formation evaluation Reservoir Lagunillas Inferior 05 across profiles wells. The same is supported by the theoretical postulates of Perez (2008), Falla (2005), Casal (2004), Graing Solomon (2001) and CRED (1999). The research was structured in the form of documentary and field with a descriptive type of research. The population identified as well as 444 sample was selected intentionally 01-X well belonging to the Lagunillas Inferior 05 Field. The technique of data collection was represented by the literature review, direct observation, workshops and interviews not structured. Data analysis was done through qualitative analysis of the profiles taken through quantitative and software under Windows environment. The results allowed: a) identify the petrophysical parameters obtained with well logs such as formation resistivity (Rt), formation water resistivity (Rw), formation temperature (TI), porosity (Ø) water saturation (Sw), clay Volume (Vsh) and permeability (k); b) describe the methods to obtain properties of clay formations clean and, c) establishing the methodology for two zones of interest in the well 01-X; Lastly, develop the methodology that will improve the estimate petrophysical through profiles.
