Abstract

The present investigation sought to respond to the lack of business training related to an efficient management of the resources available to companies by owners of textile companies in the state of Táchira, specifically in the Industrial Zones of Puente Real, Barrancas and Paramillo of the San Cristóbal municipality. The methodology used was focused within the qualitative paradigm approach, under the modality of descriptive character. For the consequent purposes, it was considered pertinent to select the case studies made up of an owner or manager, six managers and four operative employees. According to the results obtained, the deficiencies that must be corrected in relation to training and actions by managers are: leadership, motivation, managerial skills, managerial principles, performance evaluation, participation, autonomy, communication, management techniques and development of career. In addition to the above, it is considered necessary that the managers and / or owners of these organizations develop a practical and updated management action that allows to induce the personnel to improve their performance, to be integrated and to commit themselves with the organizational objectives, and reach a development in both the personal as well as the professional.
